At Trevelyan Middle School, we take pride in our high standards of pupil appearance. Below is the complete list of our uniform requirements, which must be adhered to.
Uniform:
- Blazer with Trevelyan Crest (£32-£36)
- Black tailored trousers/shorts (no jeans) or Trevelyan Tartan Skirt (£15-£18)
- White shirt with Trevelyan school tie (£5) or white revere-collared blouse
- Black jumper with Trevelyan crest (optional) (£17-£19)
- Black or grey socks
- Sturdy black flat school shoes (smart, no trainer-like appearance or branding such as Adidas, Nike, or New Balance)
PE & Sports Kit:
- Black Trevelyan Sports polo shirt with crest (£14-£17)
- Black school sports shorts/ skort (mid-thigh length, no branding)
- Black Trevelyan hoodie (optional)
- Red football socks (white sports socks permitted in Terms 5 & 6)
- Supportive sports trainers (not plimsolls or fashion trainers)
- Football boots (optional, recommended for wet weather)
- Plain black tracksuit bottoms or base layers (optional, no branding)
- Gum shield (optional – Years 7 & 8)
- Shin pads (optional)
Other:
- Hair shoulder-length or longer must be tied back fully at all times (not half up, half down); hair accessories should be black or red
- Headscarves worn for religious reasons must be black or white

It is vitally important that all uniform and sports kit items are clearly named. This is the only way we can ensure lost items find their way back to the rightful owner!
Please note the following items are NOT permitted:
- Boots
- Trainers (except during sporting activities)
- Jeans
- Nail varnish
- False nails
- Make-up
- Jewellery (other than one stud in each ear and one piece of unobtrusive religious jewellery)
- Large hair accessories
- Coloured hair
- Hair extensions
- Shaved patterns in the hair
- Smart watches
