Standard Assessment Tests
Our Year 6 pupils do their Standardised Assessment Tasks for Key Stage 2 in the three core subjects of English, Maths and Science. The results are given as a "level" (with Level 1 being the lowest recorded).
The figures represent a snapshot of 25% of the school population during five days in May. Success at Trevelyan involves much more than simply achieving an arbitrary academic level. The statutory tests provide valuable data for teachers, parents and pupils, but their main use is to indicate the ways forward.
