Progress Reports
Pupils know their levels of attainment in each subject and are keen to discuss their learning.
Ofsted 2011
We keep parents informed about their children's progress by
- meetings with subject tutors
- meetings with form tutors
- termly short progress checks
There is also a full annual written report showing, for each subject, the effort made and achievement attained. The reports include examination results where appropriate, as well as written comments and suggestions for improvement.
Effort is graded A to E:
- excellent
- good
- satisfactory
- poor
- cause for concern
Achievement shows the attainment level reached.
For example, "A" with "5c" means that excellent effort has been made to reach the lower end of level 5.
