The Library

The Library is open to pupils every day at break times and lunchtime.

Our Library contains a wide selection of resources to promote both independent research to support the curriculum as well as general interest and enjoyment of reading.

There is a comprehensive range of fiction and non-fiction books as well as an adjoining ICT suite with six computers all with internet access for research purposes.

Every pupil has a PIN enabling them to borrow one book at a time for a period of one week. Loans can be exchanged more frequently if required or renewed for a longer period if necessary.

Older pupils have the opportunity to become library helpers to assist in maintaining the library, issuing and returning loans.

All new pupils are introduced to the Library, shown how it is organised and encouraged to make use of the resources.
