At Trevelyan, we aim to provide the environment which will help children to cope with a crucial stage of their development - the transition from childhood to the start of adolescence.
We believe that the opportunities and experiences we offer encourages pupils to participate, accept responsibility and think for themselves. We aim for our pupils to transfer to Upper School well able to cope with the continuing challenges of formal education and adult life.
We offer the subjects of the National Curriculum using methods which are relevant and will challenge and motivate our pupils, whatever their ability.
We encourage our pupils to review their own work and set targets for improvement. At the start of each term, we send a pamphlet home giving details of what themes and topics each subject will cover.
