The Handbook
Every pupil has a handbook which should be brought to school every day. There is a penalty for not having your handbook!
It has instructions on how to use it in the front, as well as lots of useful information about how the School works and a map to show where everything is. It is used to
- keep a track of what work you have to do and achievements you've had
- provide a place for homework to be recorded
- provide a form of contact between school and home
Parents are asked to sign the book every week in the space provided. If your child's teacher writes a message in the book, please sign it to say that you have read it.
You may also write messages which will be similarly signed by your child's form tutor. Please remind your child to show it when they register in the morning.
Notes about absences should be written in a separate letter so that they can be filed in the school office.
