School Governors
The school’s capacity to improve further has been strengthened by the appointment of a new Chair of the Governing Body, and leaders and teachers who share the headteacher’s clear vision for improvement while recognising what still needs to be done.
Ofsted 2011
Trevelyan has 18 voluntary governors, currently with 2 vacancies. The Chairman and Vice-chairman are elected annually by the members of the governing body.
The full governing body meets at least six times each year. In addition, 5 committees meet at least once each term; the members of these carry out much of the work of the governors. The Headteacher, Chairman and Vice-Chairman are members of all the committees.
