Finance
Trevelyan has an annual budget of over £2 million.
The School Fund
The School asks every family to contribute £15 annually to the School Fund. Contributions can be made in one go, or £5 each term. The Fund is managed by the school and supports things such as
- running the school mini-bus
- affiliation fees to Sports Associations
- badges for prefects, monitors and houses
- buying equipment which would otherwise not be purchased.
The contribution is entirely voluntary, and we are grateful to the majority of families who consistently help the school in this way.
Together with grants from the PTA, it has funded playground facilities, provided lockers for pupils whose families are unable to afford them and upgraded security in the school. The fund also provides an annual sum of money to subsidise school visits and pay for personal accident and injury insurance for every pupil taking part in school activities.
- The annual contribution is £15 (£5 for any additional siblings).
- Payment can be made in one go, or termly installments.
- Please send your contribution via your child's form tutor.
- Cheques should be made payable to "Trevelyan School Fund".
