Expected Behaviour
Good attendance levels and the good behaviour of the majority of pupils make a significant contribution to the school's calm and welcoming atmosphere.

1. With Each Other
Everyone in school will act politely and with consideration to others at all times. This means that everyone should:
- be polite - use please and thank you
- control their language - no swearing!
- apologise if things go wrong
- treat others as individuals
- help others
- respect others' points of view
- respect their own and other people's property
- contribute to Trevelyan School's good reputation
2. In the Classroom
Everyone will make it as easy as possible for teaching and learning to take place. This means that everyone should:
- be on time
- be quiet
- listen to each other
- follow instructions
- take appropriate materials and equipment to each lesson
- be given enough time to understand and record homework
- record homework and complete it on time so that it can be marked and returned quickly
- do their best
- take pride in their work
- catch up on missed work
3. Environment
Everyone will take care of the buildings and grounds, and all personal and School property. This means that everyone should:
- take pride in their surroundings
- put litter in bins
- take care of displays
- keep walls and furniture clean, with no graffiti
- eat in the dining areas provided
- not steal
4. Health & Safety
Everyone will move sensibly and with purpose around the School. This means that everyone should:
- obey safety instructions
- walk on the left
- not run
